Would be the title of the article I wish to see in tomorrows Herald…to be followed by: His first game at Fenway since donning the pinstripes was certainly electifying for Johnny Damon, as he was struck by lightning while taking the field during the sixth inning. It seems that it wasn’t just Red Sox fans that were upset with Johnny’s defection to the dark side. While taking the field in the bottom of the sixth inning, after striking out in the top of the inning, Johnny Damon was hit on the side of his head by a bolt of lightning that toppled him to the ground and knocked him out for just under ten minutes. Luckily, the location of the injury allowed Damon to recover quickly- he was back in the dugout after a quick medical exam. Johnny has now suffered His wrath. Maybe now he will take down his rendition of the “Last Supper” Wouldn’t it be funny?
